Flappy Bird, The Forgiving Update


I have received a lot of feedback about the game, and I am making it “forgiving,” hence the title. I’ve also made some improvements. Here are the updates:

  • Many players did not meet Pippen, as it needed 16 points. I made the score needed to be 10 points, and it will decrease with every death until it reaches 1.

  • They also mentioned that Pippen’s projectiles were too hard to dodge, so I made them predictable. They will start as transparent, and when they’re fully seaable, they will then launch to you.

  • I redesigned Pippen a little; I added cracked parts at his head and some at the body. The damage will depend on where you hit him; shooting him in the head will deal the most damage.

  • For the speedrunners, I added a time tracker for those who want to beat the boss as fast as possible. The time starts when the boss fight starts, and I removed the cutscenes for easy replayability. The time tracked will show after defeating the boss.

  • Added a bit of vibration, which will only trigger at the start when you meet Pippen and when the boss is switching his attack.

  • Lastly, bug fixes. I found bugs here and there that you probably did not even notice :D
